This 3-day private tour starts in Ouarzazate and visits Ait Ben Haddou, the Dades Valley, and the Todra Gorges before reaching the Merzouga dunes for a night in a desert camp. It returns through the Draa Valley and over the High Atlas to Marrakech.
Our 3-day tour begins with a short drive to the iconic Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its preserved earthen architecture and role in global cinema. After exploring its narrow clay corridors, the route heads east through the lush palm groves of Skoura and the Valley of the Roses. The day concludes with a scenic drive into the Dades Valley, where dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs line the river, providing a peaceful setting for your first night. Approximate driving time: 3–4 hours, including stops.

The second day takes you deeper into the rugged landscapes of the south. We begin by exploring the towering limestone cliffs of the Todra Gorges, where the canyon walls drop dramatically to a narrow riverbed below. From there, the journey continues past changing desert scenery and traditional Berber villages until we reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Here, you will swap the vehicle for a traditional camel trek into the heart of the dunes to witness the desert sunset before spending the night at a traditional Sahara camp under the stars. Approximate driving time: 4–5 hours, including stops.

The final day begins with an early morning climb to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, the journey heads back across the volcanic peaks of the Anti-Atlas Mountains and through the vast Draa Valley, lined with countless date palms. We pass through Ouarzazate once more before crossing the high mountain passes of the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka. The tour concludes in the evening as we arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech, marking the end of your desert adventure. Approximate driving time: 10–12 hours, including stops. This is a long day.
